Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Groveport, OH or West Jefferson, OH. The ideal candidate will have forklift and/or reach truck experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accuracy and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift or reach truck experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work the scheduled 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or reach truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments.
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pull and place inventory in designated locations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities.
• Verify product and material quantities as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
