Job summary

RTC in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and deliver items to production lines and loading docks. You will operate a Reach Truck, load/unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory movement with RF scanning while following 5S standards.

We offer union-based employment with a $22.10/hr base pay plus a $2.00/hr premium, overtime after 8 hours, and benefits including 401(k) with company match, health and life insurance, paid time off, holidays, and annual profit

Qualifications

• Must be experienced as a Reach Truck operator.
• Must speak English fluently.
• Must have excellent math skills and basic computer skills.
• Must have working knowledge of warehouse documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver RTC inventory to production lines and designated areas.
• Transfer and locate receiving inventory into warehouse locations accurately.
• Prepare material movement documents timely and accurately.
• Operate RF barcode scanning equipment for real-time transactions.
• Load and unload trucks and maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver the correct items and quantities of RTC inventory and deliver it to the designated
• production lines in an accurate and timely manner.
• Transfer and locate receiving inventory into warehouse locations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare material movement documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate RF bar code scanning equipment to perform real-time material movement transactions.
• Load and unload trucks as needed or assigned.
• Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
• Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced as a Reach Truck operator and be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating a Reach Truck (Crown/Yale).
• Must speak English fluently and read all instructions in English.
• Must have excellent math skills along with basic computer skills.
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of all relevant Warehouse documentation.
• Must have previous warehousing experience.
• Must have a sense of urgency.
• Must be a team player, able to work well with others.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required.

This is a safety-sensitive role and requires a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation

*This is a Union Position and pays $22.10/HR plus a $2.00/HR premium Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
