Job summary

Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials with a manufacturing focus. The Operator I position provides essential support to production teams, assisting machine operators, managing materials, tracking inventories, and packaging finished products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read measurements in fractions and decimals.
• Read, write, and comprehend instructions.
• Communicate effectively with workers and supervisor.
• Perform basic arithmetic with a calculator.
• Use a computer for basic data entry of production and materials in database.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift to safely deliver materials to and from the factory.
• Reads work orders to determine materials to be mixed for each run.
• Loads/unloads materials onto pallets, gaylords boxes, and shelves via forklift or by hand.
• Packages all finished products per customer specification.
• Maintains and prepares packaging supplies and handles inventory control.
