Fastenal Co. is hiring a Full-time Forklift Technician for our MO100 Distribution Center in Edwardsville, KS. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining powered industrial vehicles on site and assisting the maintenance team with preventive and reactive tasks.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PIVs, performing planned maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, and documenting service records while promoting safety and sustainability throughout their work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making abilities.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain organization.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and additional time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various makes of forklift and other Power Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• Perform all planned maintenance on PIVs.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Keep accurate service records via work orders.
• Support safety initiatives and follow procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to health, safety and sustainability rules.
• Participate in training to meet EH&S objectives.
