Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven forklift operator experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with overhead crane operations, including loading/unloading of heavy materials.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport pieces of materials within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Safely load and unload materials/products using an overhead crane, ensuring proper positioning and securing of loads.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE and following established procedures for material handling.
• Perform pre-operational checks on forklift and overhead crane to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, including organizing materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
