Job summary

Whirlwind Steel Buildings Inc. is seeking a safety-minded Forklift Operator to handle large materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, ensure equipment safety checks, and help keep work areas organized for efficient production.

The role requires careful handling of long materials and coordination with supervisors to maintain smooth operations and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to handle long materials up to 50 feet and 2 tons safely.
• Perform basic equipment checks before operating forklifts and cranes.

We’re looking for a safety-minded, dependable Forklift Operator who can confidently handle large materials and keep our operations moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate forklifts to safely move materials throughout the manufacturing areas


• Safely handle materials up to 50 feet long and 2 tons


• Complete basic equipment checks before operating forklifts and cranes


• Keep materials and work areas organized and ready for the next job


• Communicate with supervisors and team members to keep work moving safely and efficiently

Schedule

Monday – Friday, starting at 6:00 AM; end time varies based on workload, typically between 4:30 – 6:00 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
