Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to locate and pull products using a forklift or pallet jack, prepare pallets for store delivery, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area according to safety guidelines. The job requires basic math, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Starting pay is $18–$19 per hour, plus a $2 per hour weekend premium.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and six or more months of related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business per policy.
• Pass a physical agility test to demonstrate ability to lift, reach, bend, push and pull.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift/pallet jack to locate and pull products accurately for orders.
• Prepare pallets for retail store delivery adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work environment following safety procedures.
• Shrink wrap orders and move completed loads to loading dock area.
• Report product discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
