The position involves yard maintenance, pallet wrapping, and cooperative teamwork across the forklift supervisor, dispatchers, drivers, and plant staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successfully complete forklift training and operate double-wide forklift.
• Learn operation of front-end loader.
• Learn yard layout and block types/sizes.
• Understand wrapping and banding cube/mortar procedures.
• Clear communication in verbal and written form.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload from production line and place in yard.
• Locate ordered merchandise in yard and stage for loading.
• Fill orders and load trucks with accuracy.
• Apply labels on pallets per order specifications.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and handle debris.
• Perform safety and mechanical checks on forklift at shift start.
• Communicate equipment or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with other yard or production tasks as needed.
