Scotts Miracle-Gro Colorado is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our Scotts team. This hourly role follows the Scotts step pay progression and typically starts at $22.10 per hour, paid weekly. We will consider factors like skills and location when determining the actual pay.

You will unload inbound shipments, stack/store merchandise, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and safe operation of equipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/divide).
• Ability to read picking and staging orders.
• Complete pre-shift inspection forms.
• Pass Scotts forklift exams and obtain/maintain license.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and move to storage locations.
• Stack and store merchandise in proper areas.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment; verify correct quantities.
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
• Operate forklift and equipment safely and in compliance with methods.
• Maintain inventory records and security; assist in inventories.
• Keep workspace clean, neat, and organized; support safety.
