Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Forklift Operator in Medway, ME. This hourly role supports unloading, stacking, and inventory control, with duties including order picking, inbound/outbound checks, and safety compliance. Candidates should have at least one year of forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, and dividing).
• Ability to read orders for picking and staging of products.
• Ability to complete pre-shift inspection forms and pass forklift exams.
• Valid forklift operator's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product are loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards.
• Move product from staging/storage to rail cars or trailers.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product with forklift or power equipment.
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area and records for tight inventory control.
• Assist in physical inventories and inventory security.
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards.
