Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro in Colorado is seeking a Forklift Operator to move, stack and count merchandise, operating a forklift safely and efficiently. The role may also involve Order Filler and Checker duties and requires at least one year of forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
• Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract/divide).
• Ability to read orders for picking and staging.
• Complete pre-shift inspection forms.
• Pass Scotts forklift exams and obtain/maintain valid operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment; verify quantity and type.
• Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards.
• Operate forklift, clamp truck, or other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use RF equipment for picking, receiving, put-away and loading functions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and inspect equipment daily.
• Record inventory and assist in physical inventories.
• Support stock rotation and warehouse security.
