Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Jackson, Tennessee is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse team. The role features a 5:30am to 6:00pm rotating 2-2-3 schedule and $17.25 per hour, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Employees work with electric sit-down forklifts and RF scanners in clean, organized facilities supporting safe supply chain operations. Training is provided, with opportunities for career growth and extensive company benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Able to perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
• Maintain accurate picking, packing, auditing and staging of products; load/unload trucks.
• Provide technical/support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Support maintenance of equipment and systems as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
