Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Jackson, Tennessee seeks a Forklift Operator to join a safety-focused team in a clean, well-run facility. The role includes operating electric sit-down forklifts and RF scanners, with a 5:30am–6:00pm rotating 2-2-3 schedule and weekly pay.

Starting pay is $17.25 per hour with comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k); paid training; PTO up to 80 hours in year one. Must have a valid forklift license and 1+ year warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measures and contract requirements.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, audits, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support automated packing system maintenance during core shift hours.
