Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Elwood, Illinois to join a clean, organized facility delivering safe supply chain operations. This role covers forklift operation, loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting across paper products handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license/certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
