Job summary

Ryder is seeking Material Handlers in Chambersburg, PA to join a clean, safety-driven warehouse. Roles include forklift operation and general shipping/receiving duties with a weekly pay cycle and solid benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule across various shifts.
• Detail oriented with good follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, and totes.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, bills of lading, returns).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
