Job summary

Roadtex Transportation in California is seeking a reliable forklift operator to support daily warehouse tasks. You will inspect equipment, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate inventory records while following safety procedures.

Candidates should have at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and pass internal safety training. This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass internal forklift certification training and safety procedures.
• Able to work in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
