Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking a Forklift Driver for a client’s warehouse in Michigan. The role involves operating a forklift to move and store materials, picking/packing for shipment, and maintaining accurate records. A current forklift certification and prior warehouse experience are required.

The candidate should be able to read instructions, lift up to 40 lbs, and stay physically active during shifts while contributing to a safe, clean workspace and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
• Current forklift certification or ability to certify within 30 days.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a standing position.
• Attention to detail and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, and store materials.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment.
• Complete required paperwork and time-tracking.
• Restock non-urgent items per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Update Warehouse Management System with transactions.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and coordinating with couriers.
