Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors in Michigan is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to pull orders, load orders onto company delivery trucks, and operate a forklift safely.

You will receive materials, organize the warehouse, maintain inventory records, and assist with deliveries to customers and jobsites. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance while following all safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Supply Interiors to operate forklift equipment.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Receive incoming building materials and place into inventory.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Pull ordered material from inventory and stage for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain product quality and accuracy of inventory records.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently and manage heavy/awkward loads.
• Estimate weight of forklift loads for proper vehicle loading.
• Sort through products to remove defective material.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites as assigned.
