Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a non-production warehouse associate in Phenix City, AL. You will load/unload, operate a forklift, and assist with inventory accuracy while maintaining safety standards and efficient cargo movement.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, IIG forklift certification, and the ability to read, write, and follow safety procedures. You will contribute to timely shipments and quality control in a busy plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus demonstrated skill in forklift operations.
• IIG Forklift Certification required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math and measurement skills for inventory tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed safety instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift daily and ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Operate forklift to load/unload products and move materials.
• Stack cartons in trailers to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Unload materials from pallets and prepare products for shipment.
• Identify product sizes and date codes; assist with monthly/year-end inventory.
• Follow safety rules, participate in safety programs, and wear PPE as required.
