Job summary

SOUTHEASTERN CONTAINER INC is seeking a Lift Truck Operator in Candler, NC 28715 to manage forklift operations, palletizing duties, and warehousing tasks in a production/packaging environment. The role supports shipping readiness and inventory control in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to load/unload shipments and prepare orders per schedule.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and product labeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure unit loads leaving the palletizer are strapped, labeled correctly and processed per specifications.
• Supply pallets, top frames, and tier sheets to palletizers; reload strap and wrap as needed.
• Notify maintenance of equipment malfunctions and share troubleshooting information to aid resolution.
• Place bottles and preforms in the warehouse; store correctly and label per SQMS; report damaged products.
• Load preforms, bottles, and other items onto trucks for shipment; verify no damage and coordinate with dispatcher.
• Unload dunnage shipments; store properly and build dunnage to support palletizing; follow hygiene specs.
• Maintain a clean working environment; follow safety guidelines; inspect forklifts per guidelines; report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader.
• Comply with product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Follow all labeling, storage, and production schedule requirements.
