Job summary

Furnitureland South is seeking a dedicated Lift Truck Operator for our Jamestown, NC warehouse. This on-site role involves storing received products in racks, maximizing space, and using a Dolphin scan gun to track inventory.

You will undergo extensive training, earn a Certified Driver certificate, and contribute to efficient loading, unloading, and staging of furniture for shipment. Prior forklift certification and physical ability to lift heavy items are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain Lift Truck certification.
• Capable of working at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to lift heavy/large objects for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily lift truck inspection logs to ensure equipment safety.
• Operate lift trucks and move furniture within the warehouse.
• Scan products to track inventory and locations.
• Load/unload shipments and stage items for shipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report hazards.
• Report for scheduled shifts and be punctual.
