Job summary

Volt is seeking a Forklift Operator in Stockton, CA. Responsibilities include inspecting railcars and trucks, coordinating loading, and adhering to safety procedures. A GED or high school diploma is required, with forklift and warehouse experience strongly preferred.

The role is full-time, temp-to-hire, with hours Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all railcars for cleanliness and report to Control Room Operator on condition and fitness for loading.
• Coordinate with truck drivers for safe and efficient loading of trucks/containers.
• Read, understand and implement the Stockton Dry facility HESQ manual in all matters pertaining to this job.
• Assist the maintenance operators in maintaining all warehouse equipment in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
