Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Carson, CA. The daily duties include reading production schedules and orders to determine items to move, pulling products for shipment, and organizing materials on racks.

You will assemble orders, and use a forklift to load and unload goods while following safety guidelines. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months warehouse experience, forklift experience, the ability to follow safety rules, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months warehouse experience or training.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move and distribute.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Sort and place materials on racks or bins per predetermined sequence.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and convey orders to packing/shipping.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage products using forklift or other equipment.
