Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Minnesota to operate forklifts, load trailers, and ensure accurate inventory and order fulfillment. You will scan products, build pallets, and maintain strict adherence to GMP and safety rules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift/manufacturing experience, and attention to detail to verify product codes and dates. You will collaborate with maintenance and supervision to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift and manufacturing experience helpful; food operations experience a plus.
• Knowledge of GMPs, general safety rules and chemical right to know a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, count and tally production information.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to put away finished pallets or to load customer orders for shipment.
• Move finished goods into racking.
• Document/scan product for inventory purposes.
• Ensure correct product is pulled and shipped to customers.
• Verify product and code dates are correct for customers.
• Manually build pallets for shipment or storage as needed.
• Inform supervisor of production variances and downtime reasons.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; work in a safe manner.
• Follow GMP and HACCP requirements; comply with MSS.
• Report food safety or quality problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Provide maintenance issues to maintenance via form or paging system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
