Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Louisville, KY. The role offers weekly pay, strong benefits, and a pathway for career growth within a safety-focused supply chain team.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, with a background in warehouse functions and forklift operation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid forklift license, plus solid computer and team skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and maintain professionalism.
• Punctual with good attendance and ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Meet performance guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
