Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Perrine, FL. The role includes operating forklifts, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting as part of a team in a safety-focused facility.

You will use a WMS system, scanners, and Microsoft Office tools to process orders, with training and growth opportunities provided. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have clean driving record and be able to travel within area 25–50% of day.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel; able to operate scanners and enter orders into a WMS system.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Occasional outdoor work in addition to indoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
