The Cary Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Addison, IL to support shipping/receiving, order assembly, and shipments. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will handle customer interactions during deliveries and pickups, maintain organized inventory, and prepare shipping documentation, contributing to dependable service and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and handle items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading and checking in merchandise, assembling orders, and preparing shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain a safe, organized warehouse and accurately mark/count inventory.
• Organize the warehouse, interpret orders, and move materials as needed.
• Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.

Your Role:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Shipping and Receiving: Assisting with unloading and checking in merchandise, assembling customer orders, and preparing shipments.
• Customer Interaction: Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
• Safety and Organization: Maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, properly marking materials, and ensuring accurate inventory counts.
• Warehouse: Organizing the warehouse, reading and interpreting orders, and moving materials as needed.
• Documentation: Preparing and verifying shipping and receiving documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
