The Cary Company is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator in Addison, IL. The role involves loading/unloading, preparing shipments, and delivering customer service during deliveries and pickups.

The position requires forklift experience, strong organization, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will maintain a safe, efficient warehouse and support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving: unload/check in merchandise, assemble orders, and prepare shipments.
• Customer Interaction: provide excellent service during deliveries and pick-ups.
• Safety and Organization: maintain a safe, organized warehouse and accurate inventory counts.
• Warehouse: read/interpret orders and move materials as needed.
• Documentation: prepare and verify shipping/receiving documents.

Hours:
Start time: 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm
End time: 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm

Your Role:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Shipping and Receiving: Assisting with unloading and checking in merchandise, assembling customer orders, and preparing shipments.
• Customer Interaction: Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
• Safety and Organization: Maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, properly marking materials, and ensuring accurate inventory counts.
• Warehouse: Organizing the warehouse, reading and interpreting orders, and moving materials as needed.
• Documentation: Preparing and verifying shipping and receiving documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
