Job summary

States Logistics Services, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in our Phoenix, AZ facility. The role includes loading/unloading, order assembly, and staging for outbound shipments. Overtime 10+ hours may be required depending on client volume.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with a $1 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift. Benefits and ESOP/401K programs are available. E-Verify participation and equal opportunity employment are noted.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Willingness to work required overtime (10+ hour shifts, weekends, holidays).
• Good attendance and punctuality required.
• Willingness to perform duties as needed to succeed.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving warehouse.
• Able to read and understand work orders and verbal instructions.
• Able to stand, walk, lift and push/pull up to 50 lb regularly and 50 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read and fill customer orders and requisitions for items to move, gather, distribute, and ship.
• Unload trucks, check in product, verify against purchase orders, and assist shipping/receiving.
• Assemble orders on pallets and move to staging areas; assist distribution as needed.
• Maintain warehouse safety and perform light facilities duties as required (sweeping, dusting, mopping, racking, reconfiguration).

Now Hiring: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Compensation to Start: $20 (depending on experience) + $1 shift differential

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday / 2:30pm - 11:00pm
This position may require overtime of 10+ hrs based on client volume

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read and accurately fill customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Unload trucks, check in product, match purchase orders to sale orders, and assist shipping and receiving. Verifies list of products unloaded against purchase order to determine if all product was received and note if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
• Assemble customer orders on pallets and relocate them to holding or outbound staging area. May weigh and count items for distribution within warehouse to ensure company standards.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for company and customer traffic. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (ex: sweep, dust, and mop). Including racking, re-configuration, and product consolidation.

Qualifications

• While we will consider candidates with no experience, we would strongly prefer at least six (6) months of related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work required overtime on a regular basis including 10+ hour shifts, extra days, weekends, and holidays.
• Good attendance and punctuality: must show up on time, work scheduled shifts, work mandatory overtime, etc.
• Must be willing to do anything and everything needed to succeed
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Able to speak and read work orders and understand/clarify verbal instructions.
• Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: stand, walk, lift, twist, turn, lift/push/pull over 10 pounds regularly, and 50 pounds occasionally
