Job summary

States Logistics Services, Inc. is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Tolleson, AZ. You will read orders, unload trucks, assemble pallets, and move items to staging areas while maintaining safety and efficiency.

• Ensure warehouse safety and accessibility for company and customer traffic; may perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed.

Now Hiring: Forklift Operator 2nd Shift!

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday / 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Starting Pay: $20-$24.00 hour + $1/hr shift differential.

These positions may require 6-day work weeks and shifts exceeding 10+ hours per day based on volume.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator/Order Selector:

• Read and accurately fill customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Unload trucks, check-in products, match purchase orders to sale orders, and assist shipping and receiving. Verifies list of products unloaded against a purchase order to determine if all product was received and note if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
• Assemble customer orders on pallets and relocate them to holding or outbound staging areas. May weigh and count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure the company standards.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for company and customer traffic. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed (ex: sweep, dust, and mop). Including racking, re-configuration, and product consolidation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Reach and Sit-Down Propane Lift Experience Required
• Must be able to work required overtime regularly, including 10+ hour shifts, extra days, weekends, and holidays.
• Good attendance and punctuality: must show up on time, work scheduled shifts, work mandatory overtime, etc.
• Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: stand, walk, lift, twist, turn, lift/push/pull over 10 pounds regularly, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to speak and read work orders and understand/clarify verbal instructions.
• Must be willing to do anything and everything needed to succeed, from picking orders to sweeping the floors.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
