Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company in Gas City, Indiana is seeking Forklift Operators to support production on a fast-paced warehouse floor. Pay starts at $20.50 per hour with a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, holidays, 401k & ESOP, profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.

You will load/unload materials, follow safety protocols, sort pallets, and keep pace with daily production targets while maintaining quality and a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience and certification preferred; training provided.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks and warehouse operations.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based environment is a plus.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and load/unload trailers.
• Follow safety protocols to help achieve zero incidents each shift.
• Hand-sort pallets based on product specs and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain production pace and meet daily goals with accuracy and efficiency.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; practice “Clean as You Go”.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
