Job summary

Rand Whitney Containerboard seeks a warehouse associate to unload trucks, inspect incoming material, stock inventory and assist with loading conveyor lines. You will track inventory in the computer system and maintain a clean, safe work area in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate a forklift, clamp truck or bobcat. Candidates should be reliable, team-oriented and able to meet production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; eligible to work in the US.
• Good computer skills; ability to track inventory.
• Able to communicate with all team members and adhere to safety procedures.
• Must be a team player, organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in an environment with changing priorities.
• Must operate a fork truck, clamp truck and/or bobcat.
• Must meet quality and performance standards; productivity quotas.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks repetitively according to company standards.
• Operate fork truck and manage bale movements; publish inventory numbers.
• Inspect bales unloaded from trailers and load conveyor with proper mix.
• Support production goals by meeting waste and quality targets; cut beater stock.
• Keep loading area clean; maintain safety and environmental guidelines.
