Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a dependable forklift driver familiar with forklift controls and safety procedures. The role requires the ability to work independently or with a team, plus strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities include inspecting the forklift, loading/unloading materials, maintaining inventory records, ensuring safe operation, keeping the area clean, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required (3 months minimum).
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use to ensure proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift safely and keep work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.
