Job summary

Americold is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Albertville, AL location. This on-site role supports safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts and RF scanners.

Working the 1st shift (06:00 AM–04:30 PM), Monday through Saturday, you will handle loading, unloading, storage, and order picking with strict adherence to safety and efficiency standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3 months of related work experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and pack orders for shipment, verify accuracy and condition of freight.
• Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory tasks, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
