Job summary

Clark Associates, Inc. through The Restaurant Store seeks a Material Handler / Stocker / Receiver for its Davie, Florida location. This role handles daily material flow, inventory, and storefront presentation to support sales and customer service.

Experience with forklifts is a must. You will stock, organize, and maintain clean work areas while coordinating with management and the Sales team as needed. This is a full-time position.

Job Summary

The Material Handler / Stocker / Receiver with The Restaurant Store is responsible for all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location.The Operations Professional will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective inventory management strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, and inventory teams.

FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE A MUST

• THIS IS A BRAND NEW location
• 50,000 square feet to service all of our independent and chain restaurants / food trucks / local businesses.
• We carry everything that a restaurant needs (with the exception of fresh, refrigerated or frozen products)
• We are hiring Full-Time employees only
• Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 7am - 5pm, Sunday CLOSED

• Receive all inbound merchandise each day and stock merchandise onto the sales floor
• Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
• Organize merchandise (front and face) to provide a “grand opening” appearance each day
• Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management
• Provide a high level of customer service when needed to assist customers with locating items in the store without engaging in sales advisory conversations
• Effectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questions
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and/or mopping the floor, take out trash and cardboard
• Keep work areas and sales floor neat and clean
• May be asked to operate a forklift as needed
