Job summary

Next Level Steel, LLC seeks a dedicated Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving operations. This role requires operating an 18,000lb+ sit-down forklift, reading tapes, and maintaining a strong safety record.

Ideal candidates are hard-working team players with good vision, capable of daily equipment inspections, and able to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs and working in varied weather. Company benefits and room for growth offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience operating 18,000lb+ sit-down forklift (min 2 years).
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel-powered forklift to load/unload large structural materials.
• Inspect equipment daily and report issues to supervisor.
• Unload materials from suppliers and verify accuracy.
• Move materials to storage and prep for processing.
• Assist shop when needed and support teamwork for uptime.
