Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC in the United States seeks a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory and production, and back to inventory. You will maintain paperwork and production records, providing materials per the production schedule.

No formal experience required, though forklift driving experience is preferred. Must be 18+, with basic math and inventory knowledge, and you will be paid $18.00/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and label material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Maintain organized rough material and finished goods inventory yard.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other meetings and programs.
• Perform other duties as required.
