Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material from inventory to production and back, providing production departments with materials per the schedule. The role requires basic math and inventory awareness and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include transferring materials between stations, labeling and packing goods, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of forklift driver licensing process.
• No minimum experience required, forklift driving experience preferred.
• Basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, and label finished goods; move to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report problems.
• Maintain organized inventory yard for rough material and finished goods.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
