Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products and materials safely across the facility, optimizing space and productivity. The role requires adherence to safety policies, proper PPE, and timely attendance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, transferring materials, inspecting forklifts, and maintaining clean work areas. Basic math and communication in English/Spanish are required, with potential forklift certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Wears assigned PPE in order to safely perform all job tasks
• Wears steel-toed boot for the duration of work shift
• Loading and unloading trucks with finished goods
• Transfers material throughout facility and store new product in designated area
• Safely secures and loads flatbed and flatbed trucks as needed (where applicable)
• Follow forklift safety procedures when replacing propane tanks on forklifts
• Wraps finished product for shipping (where applicable)
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
