Job summary

Westlake Global Compounds, a division of Westlake Corporation, seeks a Forklift Operator to safely move materials across the manufacturing facility. You will comply with safety, quality, and operational procedures while supporting shipping and receiving activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification or the ability to obtain one, and basic math and reading skills. Previous forklift experience preferred; a fast-paced environment with GMPs applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must score Silver, Gold, or Platinum on WorkKeys test.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain.
• Basic reading, counting, math and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods using FIFO.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in counts.
• Prepare and verify shipping/receiving documentation.
