Job summary

Westlake Global Compounds is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move raw materials, WIP and finished goods throughout the facility. You will follow safety policies, operate forklifts, and participate in shipping and inventory processes.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills. OSHA safety practices and GMP adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must score Silver, Gold, or Platinum level on WorkKeys test.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required or must have the ability to obtain.
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Suite and handheld RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, transport, stack, and stage materials using FIFO principles.
• Move materials to designated locations and ensure accurate labeling.
• Support shipping/receiving activities and handle LTL shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in monthly counts.
• Prioritize workload to meet production and delivery requirements.
