Job summary
Master Lock Company is seeking an Internal Posting-PIT/MH Operator 1st Stock to support safe material handling and production demands. You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and adherence to PIT procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include moving product with sit-down and stand-up trucks, using handheld scanners and ERP systems such as Great Plains and E-21, and performing daily PIT inspections.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to obtain Fork Lift Certification
- Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial truck - always putting associate safety above production output.
- Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down, and stand up.
- Utilize Handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner.
- Responsible for daily PIT Inspections.
- Other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead.
