Job summary

Owens Corning Summit Plant seeks a forklift operator to load and unload products, stock inventory, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. You will operate a lift truck and follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and PPE standards.

The role requires completion of forklift training and ongoing adherence to company policies. The position involves coordination with truck drivers, accurate paperwork, and the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operator license required.
• Basic math and communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished products and raw materials following procedures.
• Operate lift truck safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily forklift checklist and PPE usage.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and conduct cycle counts as needed.
• Coordinate with drivers and carriers for paperwork.
