Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Elizabeth, New Jersey is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move finished goods.

You will follow GMP/HACCP guidelines, participate in safety trainings, and maintain accurate inventory while supporting production needs. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, performing basic quality checks, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Power Industrial Truck Operator’s License required.
• Basic power industrial truck operations knowledge.
• Must be able to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and other industrial vehicles.
• Load and unload products from trailers and store in designated areas.
• Perform FIFO procedures for materials and ingredients and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Conduct basic quality assurance via visual inspection of finished goods.
