Job summary

Owens Corning in Stanley, Virginia is seeking a qualified forklift operator to support production by loading, unloading, and moving materials safely around the plant. You will perform pre-shift safety checks, operate forklifts, stack pallets, and assist with material staging to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 1-2 years of forklift experience with certification, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility for extended hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years forklift experience with certification required.
• Able to operate forklift safely and in compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections for safety and compliance.
• Operate forklift to load/unload, move materials, and stack pallets.
• Supply production areas with needed materials from inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety rules.
