Job summary

Silver-Line Plastics in Asheville, NC is seeking a dependable Distribution Center Loader to support warehouse operations. You will safely receive, store, pick, stage, and load products while upholding high safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience and familiarity with RF scanning; attention to detail and ability to work well in a team are essential. Pay rate is $25.52 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report malfunctions or repair needs.
• Receive and accurately locate inventory using RF scanning technology.
• Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound shipments according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Execute daily tasks in prescribed sequences to meet delivery deadlines.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
• Support departmental projects and perform other duties as assigned.
