Job summary

Silver-Line Plastics in Asheville, NC is seeking a dependable Distribution Center Loader to support warehouse operations. You will safely receive, store, pick, stage, and load products while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced with forklifts and material handling in a fast-paced environment. Pay posted is $25.52/hour with Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required.
• RF scanning familiarity preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safety, quality, and productivity mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report malfunctions.
• Receive and locate inventory using RF scanning.
• Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound shipments per customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Follow prescribed sequences to meet delivery deadlines.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy efforts.
• Assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
• Support departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
