Job summary

Rand-Whitney in Northbridge, MA is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload materials in corrugated packaging production. You will operate powered industrial trucks safely, follow the production schedule, and document inspections and reports.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of corrugated packaging or general manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• High degree of attention to prevent injury; promote a safe work environment.
• Must be able to meet productivity quotas and adhere to process protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload materials and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks.
• Deliver appropriate stock to machines safely and on time.
• Complete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift; turn in maintenance work orders.
• Adhere to daily production schedule; assist in optimizing schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.
• Complete assigned forms and reports accurately and timely (Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data).
