Qualifications

• Reads and interprets factory instructions and safety guidelines.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations (percentages, measurements, volume, rate).
• Can follow written, oral, or graphic instructions and solve basic operational problems.
• Knowledge of forklift design, capabilities, and production layout.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain the forklift following safety guidelines.
• Complete daily forklift inspections before shift and for new equipment.
• Prepare stock for delivery to machines and optimize flow.
• Move finished goods, label and store them properly.
• Maintain stock locations in storage areas and systems.
• Maximize equipment utilization according to daily production schedule.
• Assist fellow operators and back up the Shipping Lead.
• Complete production, safety, and quality records.
