Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move products efficiently while adhering to safety standards and inventory controls. You will report to the shipping office for daily assignments and ensure pallets and loads are handled with care across busy warehouse areas.

The role requires knowledge of forklift operations, RF systems, and basic arithmetic for counting and pricing tasks. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Safety guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Bakco functions and RF systems.
• Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a global view of processes.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment.
• Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen or manual replenish screen.
• Performs knockdowns for selectors when needed.
• Maintains correct counts and logs inventory discrepancies.
• Keeps area clean and debris-free in the work area.
• Operates the lift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.
• Parks and recharges lift in its designated spot at shift end.
